Dyna was mostly inactive during the first part of the season, though she went unnoticed compared to bigger perceived threats such as Ice, Mac, Mateo, and Jordan. She ultimately appeared at her first session during Week 3, and she continued to appear somewhat sporadically. During her appearances, she would usually work on her relationship with Angelina and Dogs, which allowed her to progress without having to get too much blood on her hands. Unfortunately, during the triple eviction, Ryan considered her expendable to the alliance, as well as Kiki, and ultimately she was evicted with no votes to save.
Dyna returned for season 2, promising a more intense gameplay. Due to the nature of her eviction during the triple eviction the previous season, she was one of the vets initially granted access into season 2. She ultimately failed to make strong connections, however, working with almost none of the other HouseGuests and not attempting to reach out to her housemates between sessions. As a result, she was viewed as expendable when Glamor nominated her in place of Khia, trying to evict Ellie and Ryan. Khia and her allies then voted her out in a 5 to 3 vote.
Dyna returned and managed to form the first majority alliance of the season, initially starting off with Logan and Brennen before allowing Brennen to add Mickey. Mya and Misty were later added to the alliance, though she initially expected that she would have to turn on the two about mid-way through the game. Dyna and her allies managed to coast through the first three weeks, with Dyna winning her first HOH in Week 4. She initially nominated Amanda and Dante, two obvious targets for the alliance to go after, since Katniss was immune and the only other choice outside of the alliance was Natasha. What she could not have seen coming, however, is how soon Mya and Misty would turn on her. Mya won the power of veto and chose to save Amanda, falsely allowing her to think that Dante was still the target. Mya then convinced Dyna to agree to nominate a member of their alliance as a pawn, with a 4 to 3 vote still guaranteeing Dante's eviction. Brennen then volunteered as a pawn, which prompted Dyna to choose him as the replacement nominee. Mya and Misty then flipped the vote against Brennen, which proved tragic for Dyna. Dante won the next week, and, knowing both Dyna and Logan had attempted to target him during their HOH reigns, nominated the two. Mickey won the power of veto, but due to some reverse psychology from Mya, discarded it, leaving Dyna and Logan on the block. Dyna was evicted in a 4 to 2 vote, having been labelled the leader of the now-crumbled alliance.
Host Opinion[]
Dyna was a very good social player, she just fell victim to a twist (the triple eviction) and was considered expendable. I believe she could've easily reached at least the final 4 had the twist not screwed her over. Overall, despite her inactivity, she was a low key great player and would be very welcome back.
Dyna promised better gameplay this season, and in my opinion, she absolutely did not deliver. I was very underwhelmed by her gameplay, even if she was very present in the game compared to most of the other HouseGuests. She also failed to send in a jury vote, and as a result, she was booted from the jury. Good luck in future endeavors, Dyna!
Dyna played this game HARD her third time around. She was very aware of her social standing in the house, and she had a good thing going early in the game. However, Mya and Misty also recognized this, and knew that they had to dethrone her before she could gain any more power. Dyna, trusting that it was still far too early for anyone to turn on her, gave in and unfortunately lost her position in the game. Overall, she played an amazing early game, and we were very impressed with her.
